2001 Honda Civic Blower stopped

Air Conditioning problem
2001 Honda Civic 4 cyl

My blower stopped blowing a couple weeks ago. The blue light that shows when it is on also doesn't light. I've tried turning it on to see if my lights dim, assuming if the blower was stuck I'd see some batter drain. But I see nothing. I've checked all the fuses, I believe. Unless there are fuses in places I couldn't find!

Can anybody suggest something I could try to fix this or at least identify what the problem is?

Thank you!

Hi Stuntman,

You need to test if the blower is faulty. Check for power supply to blower motor first.

We were able to get the blower running manually. We checked most of the relays and wiring. We checked fuses. We traced as far as we could without going behind the dash/control panel in the car. But the problem appears to be back there someplace. Everything seems okay up to that point. But the dial just doesn't activate the blower. At any speed.

Hi Stuntman,

Was power available at motor with igniton switch on? If no, check the blower motor relay under hood fuse box.

If power is available, you need to check/test power transistor.

Lastly would be the switch if the power supply is coming out of power transistor.
