How do I change spark plugs and wires on on electric igniton on a 2001 honda civic 1.7L 4cyl ex model?

Hi mikea1690c,

There are no plug cables to replace.

It is a direct coil system so you need to remove the coil to get access to the plugs.

Remove the cover on top of the valve cover.

Remove 10 mm nut from the coil.

Disconnec the wire socket and you can then remove the plugs
