Egr insuficient fllow.I did what you told me to clean the port at the intake manifold.I use a wire cable. About 12 inches long with brake cleaner, then blow it with compress air. Still the same check engine light still showing after a while of driving, car due for smog check. Honda civic hx. Help.

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0401:
Insufficient flow in the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system.

Its either a clogged EGR valve or its defective to include a clogged intake port that will caused this insufficient flow
