Just replaced my head gasket and put it all back together. Now it giving me a cel light leading to code 72. Which I found out to be miss fire n 2. Borrowed compression tool check out that no. 2 has a low low compression compared to the other three. My question is did I miss something to lead to this problem? And how much will it cost me to have it fix? Thanks.

Hi Pongsy2003,

Did you check the valve clearance? If it is too tight, the compression would be low.

Another possibility wold be the valves are leaking and they could be due to damage caused when the cylinder head was taken off. If that is the case, you would have to remove the head and replace the valve.

Cost depends on what needs to be done/replaced.
