My cars driver side tire came completely off due to the fact that my lug nuts were not fully tightened on so how many mile could I have typically gone at the most before they would have been loosened all the way to cause this to happen?

Hi babalou,

There is no definite answer to this question. It could be any distance depending on the lug nut torque, speed of vehicle, road condition etc. Prior to tire coming off, the steering would have acted funny, wobbling or shaking with loud noises.
