When I turned my car smoke was coming from it. I turned it back on after 5min and it turned it self back off. Did I blow the engine to my car?

Check around the engine bay, can you see any fire damage to electrical wires, check the engine oil and coolant levels, are they correct?

I dont know where any of dat stuff is located. I left my car in a shopping area because a engine light appeared. When I went to turned it off it started to smoke.I let it cool off and attempted to start it up again it started and stopped.I didnt drive it home because it didnt want to take a risk of driving my car in that condition. In april I got a partial tune up I didnt get my fuel or my fuel injector completed on my tune up.

You will need to get someone who can look at this for you, to check what I have mentioned and as you say the check light has come on, get a scan as this will give some incite into what is wrong possibly.
