1996 Honda Civic please help

Hii I have a 96 Honda Civic Hx and for some reason when I step on the gas to hard just even slightly when the car hits 2 rpm it would shake and trumble hard I got the oil changed and spark plugs and fuel filter and the distributor and I can't think of anything possible I do know that the oil on da transmission smells bad any clues please someone help me

Hi there,

The burnt smell of the transmission oil is an indication the the transmission is slipping and this may well be the cause of your problem, have the trans checked over for faults and at least get it serviced as the dirty oil is not helping things at all, start here.
