About three weeks ago I replaced me front brakes for my 1995 Honda Civic Ex. About two weeks later I started to notice a sound coming from the front of the car. The sound sounds like the CV joints went but when I did the brakes I took off the old brakes and on the old brakes was a bracket that seems to hold them in snug so they wont move or rattle. When I put the new brakes on the brackets for both side would not fit on the new pads. So I didn't use them. I got the pads at a Auto Discount store. At first I thought it was the CV joints because I heard the sound when I turned. (But manly when I turned backwards) I hear it but every bump I run over I hear the sound. When I start driving I can hear the noise. It seems that the sound is repetitive more then the CV joints. What does this sound like to you? Thank you for your time.
