Hood latch cable broken?

Hello,

There are couple of ways to get to the latch under the hood.

First you can try assessing the cable that is attached to the latch from under the car.
Be sure the vehicle is off and the engine is cool.
If you can slide your hand from the bottom of the front bumper cover, between the radiator and the bumper cover, you will be able to reach the cable.

If that opening is too narrow, you will need to take the front grille off of the car. Then you will be able to access the cable. Simply pull down on that cable and the hood will open.
