Engine Performance problem
1995 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 150k miles

wife started car this a.M, it ran for 3 seconds and shut down. I checked to see if it was a fuel problem by shooting ether into it, no go. Disconnected fuel line and cranked engine, pressure is there and appears to be sufficient without accually putting a gauge on it. Got good spark. Checked all fuses, they are good. Oh, I replaced timing belt about 20k miles ago so I doubt it jumped. What's my next step? Pressure regulator? Could it be electrical concerning the injectors? Thanks, hope you can help.

Shouldn't shooting it with ether bypass the injectors anyway and make it run?

SO you have spark at the spark plugs end
you sprayed in ether and no start
my next move would be to remove spark plugs and check them and check compression
and still check injector pulse
Hold the gas paddle down and try to start
