When I make a right turn the fuel gauge goes down to E and when I make a left turn the gauge goes up to F. Going straight will make it go back to where it should be at. What cause this and what needed to be replace.

Hi civicfuel,

Inconsistent gauge reading most probably from sending unit in fuel tank or fuel sloshing around too much due to dislodged surge plates.

Hi civicfuel,

Below the rear seat you can get accecc to the fuel float and pump.

Take it out and use a torchlight to see if there are any metel plates sitting at the bottom of the tank.
If there are, you need to replace the tank.

Testing of the sender might be difficult in this case. Use a good known one would be the best.
