I have a 1993 Honda Civic with a 1.5. I jusrt replaced the motor after it overheated and started to smoke. After replacing the motor, I keep getting a rolling Idel. I have replaced one of the Idel control sensors and cleaned the other. I also got a used MAp sensor as well. I can not seem to get it to stop. I have checked all vaccum lines and it hold 8psi.
However when I sprayed carb cleaner on the the 4 piston intake area it started to pop. So I replaced the PCV thinking it may be taking in a little cleaner into the area.

A leaky vac system is a cause but it can range from EGR valve, low coolant in the system (antifreeze), air in the cooling system, and a number of other things. I might suspect the intake manifold as cracked or a bad intake manifold gasket. A simple smoke test will tell if there is an intake issue.
