My check engine light came on and I don't know how to check it on this vehicle, also where could I find a code list for it because the repair manual doesn't show anything

Hi harryj,

Based on year, I am unable to verify which system your car is equipped with and there are 2 types.

The older version has a window at the ECU for you to read the codes by blinking, long flashes = 10 and short = 1.

If it is the newer version, at the side pillar besides the glove compartment of the front passenger you can see 2 wire sockets held by a green rubber holder.

Loop the 2 wire socket and read the blinking code of the engine check light.

Remember to turn on the ignition switch while reading.
