1985 Honda Civic

Car runs great untill I go up a hill then it bogs down or loads up becomes slugish I have to down shift. Ive replaced, clutch, spark plugs wires cap and rotor, and fuel filter. What might I check now any suggestions? Please email me with any ideas help! Truebeast@charter. Net

Hi beast_isme,

Possible reasons,
1. Ignition timing, if retarded would have lack of pulling torque.
2. If carb, you need to check distributor, the advance mechanism might be seized.
3. Old age, is the condition of the engine compression etc good?
