Hesitation under accelleration

My Honda Accord/Torneo 1996 (62000 miles) hesitates when I accellerate after coming to a stop at intersections particularly when it is uphill. We have had it checked out but nobody seems to be able to trace the reason, can you help

Not sure what you have done to the car and what the maintenance to the car has been. The EGR valve could be sticking. Personal experience on an exact problem was rectified by a replacement of the plug wires. Multiple factors combine to make each engine seem so different. When was the car last tuned?
