Hi I have a 2002 Honda Accord, 118,000 miles and V4 engine. For some reason when I accelerate or try to accelerate the motor rushes but the car does not go anywhere. I take my foot off the pedal and them press it slowly and then it goes forward for a bit and when I press the gas again it does not accelerate, only this time the "D4" light is now flashing and I can't go anywhere. The check engine light is on the entire time? What would this be?

Take it have the CEL evaluated. I am interested in the age of the tranny fluid and what has been done to the tranny since it was new. Has the fluid been changed? It breaks down.
