2001 Honda Accord D4 light is blinking, cant accelerate on

I got in my car after painting my calipers on my brakes and I turned on the engine and then I look at my dash and my D4 light is blinking green and the check engine light is on and the THS. I tried driving it and I can reverse fine, if I put it in 1 or 2 in drive it is fine, but when I shift to d3 or d4 I feel as if the car is holding back and im not going. The 1 and 2 is faster. I dont know what the problem is and im only 18 so I cant replace the tranny. I just wanna know whats wrong with it and be able to repair it without getting a new transmission. I just got new brakes installed with new pads 2 days ago.

The d4 light is blinking because you have a transmission code. It sounds like you will have to overhaul the transmission (from the sounds of it). I'd personally bring it to a transmission shop to get a diagnosis first.
