My 2001 honda accord ex just stops while I am driving it. My check engine light has come on. I have taken it to auto zone & ran a diagnostic test which shows I need and EGR valve. I was told that's not the problem with it just going off

Hi yvonnetrrs,

When engine stalled, was it easy to restart?
Was any indicator lights showing?
Can you explain the problem in more details?
EGR can cause stalling or poor performance.
