2000 Honda Accord Motot Mounts

We have been told by our mechanic that we need to replace two motor mounts - left side & front to the tune of $400.00.

Is this something that I can replace myself, if so, how?

Hi Greg,

Here are diagrams of the front and rear engine mounts.

Removal and inistallations are rather straightforward. Remove any items that are obstructing and remove the holding bolts and nuts on engine mount. Use a jack to support and raise the engine/trans slightly to allow the mount to be removed.
