2000 Honda Accord Door Lock

Hi I was hoping if I could have a moment of your time. I have a 2000 honda accord and I am having a problem with my passenger side door lock. It works fine if you pull the lock manually but it doesnt lock or unlock with the button inside the car nor with the remote on the key chain. The lock moves slightly but doesnt go completely up or down. I was wondering if you can help? Please get back to me I would greatly appreciate it

Hi mjtata,

From the description of the symptoms, the doolr lock motor is weak and is not able to lock or unlock when the motor is actuated.

You would have to replace the motor to rectify.
