1999 Honda Accord my car Kicks or jumps

I need to know what my problem is my car is kicking or jumping when its switching gears to 2nd and 3rd but it also revs up the rpm to 4-5 before it shifts I was told it may be my transmission but not sure is it? And if it is how much will the total cost be to rebuild it or replace it please help me

Hi juniorh88,

HArsh shifting is from the trans and it could be the solenoids or internal faults.

Get a free scan done at Autozone to see if any trouble codes are present.

As to the price of repairs, it differs place to place so it would be best to ge a quotation from a few sources to get an idea how much it would cost.
