I had the transmission replaced about 5 months ago. Every since then I have this intermittenting vibration in the front end. But now it is getting real bad. It vibrates most of the time now. I feel it alot about 40 to 50 MPH. If I drive at 65 to 70 MPH if goes away. Could the inner CV joint or bearings to this. If so could the HONDA dealer have caused this.

It could be that the torque converter was damaged when the trany was replaced. Do you know if they replaced the converter with the trany?

The torque converter was suppose to have been changed too. If it was my torque converter wouldn't my tachometer bounce around the same time I feel the vibration. My tachometer is smooth while it is vibrating.

I don't think the tack would bounce around if the converter was bent.

Torque converter goes on first, then the tranny. If
the tranny was allowed to hang unsupported off the converter during installation it will damage the converter.

How long after the install did the problem start?

The vibration started within 2 weeks. I took the car back but it wouldn't vibrate. The vibration was intermittenting. Now it will vibrate just about every time I drive it.
