1999 Honda Accord Car stops occasionally while driving

Car will stop at red light or when idling. 02 sensor light on. Could this be the cause?

Hi DorisLemoine,

If it is the Check Engine Light (CEL) that you are refering to, then it does not necessarily mean the O2 sensor is faulty. That is an indicator of a fault in the engine management system and it could be any sensors.

Get a scan done and let me know the exact DTC.

The stalling could be due to a fault in the idling system and it might or might not be related to the CEL.
