1999 Honda Accord Accord dies at highway speeds

My 1999 honda accord just dies while driving down the highway every few days for no apparent reason. You can put the transmission in neutral and it will crank right up. This has happen while cruising down the interstate and while trying to increase speed to merge into traffic on the on ramp of the interstate. Car runs find. Note The check engine light remains on and the cat convertor & sensor have been changed.
