the fuse for tail and parking lights blow anytime between 2-8 weeks. Doesn't matter what you are doing when it blows. The other night the lights were turned on and it blew. It doesnt aways do it when lights are turned on.

Hi George63fl,

You have a bare wire lying around somewhere causing the intermittent shorting. It is an electricians nightmare handling such problems.

I would suggest checking wire harness for damage. If any accident repairs were carried out, those would be the most likely area to cause it.

Check the front parking light bulbs, they tend to have flimsy contacts and any movement can cause shorting between the socket terminals.
