1998 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 130000 miles

My 98 Honda Accord EX A/T 130K check engine light came on while driving on highway. The car drives fine, until it sits over night. The next day the cars trans skips, & slips, creating red line RPMs. The mechanic cleared the 3 trans codes, the car was fine for 3 months. I just drove 100 miles, the car sat for 4 hours, the light came on. I had to drive another 200 miles & everything was fine, until the next morning. My shop cleared the codes again, car drives fine. Could this be a computer issue vs. Trans? B/c when it's winter the SRS light comes on until the car warms up, then it turns off. A month ago the ABS light came on after my car sat for 9 days but went away the next time I started my car. My oil gage on the dash board bounces and doesn't work "at all times". When I get an oil change at JiffyLube the computer always reads no oil but I have it. Can you help? Is it trans or computer? I know nothing about cars & need help. Please provide your guidance.I have no $ to fix or buy used.

Hi michellekmisuraca,

Symptoms described seems to indicate a wire connection problem. I would suggest checking the PCM and any other wire harness connectors for contamination or looseness.

What were the codes that was cleared? The exact code helps to identify the cause. Were they the same each time they came out? The trans operation each time were similar or were there any difference?
