1997 Honda Accord Water pump

It has been noted that my water pump may have a small leak. Is this dangerous? Can I run my air conditioner. I have no practical knowledge of this problem.

Hi meyer2602,

It is not going to ruin your A/C but a worse fate awaits.

If coolant is lost and overheating occurs, it is going to ruin your engine.

You should get the problem resolved. In the meantime, make sure you check the coolant level and watch the temperature while driving.
