My car heated up and I inmediately stopped and parked it, as I did not want to run the engine. I waited for it to cool off some and started the engine to pour water directly into the radiator, I then noticed water shooting out under the radiator.I felt the water coming out of a missing screw or something at the bottom of the radiator, I placed my finger to stop it and the water stopped comig out, Is that the radiator drain valve missing or what?
I am a woman and dont know too much about mechanics, please tell me so the mechanic wont charge me and arm and a leg just to place a drainage valve on the radiator, I have no money,
thanks guys.

Hi lamencha,

Yes, that should be a missing or broken radiator drain plug. It should not cause you much to get it replaced. If the drain plug is broken partially. A sharp pointed object can be used to pierce the remaining drain plug to remove it.
