I needto know what is causing this engine to surge when in idle and what I need to do to correct the prolem? I have noticed it more when the engine is warm. Thank you for your help.

Hi LSSHolmes,

When engine surges, it means the idling seed is higher than expected.

Possible causes are :

1. Idling speed sdjusted too high.
2. Insufficient coolant causing the FITV not to close correctly.
3. Leaking vacumns.
4. Faulty IAC.
