I just had the head on my accord reworked and put back on, not even 5,000 miles ago. Since I reworked the head, now I need new rings. Do I nessecarily HAVE to take the head back off to take the pistons out or can they be taken out through the oil pan? And, this is my first time doing piston rings. Any advice?

The engine has to be taken out and the head has to taken off to remove the ridge so the piston can be removed its alot harder to remove them out of the bottom and unnecessary to cause the engine has to be removed most of the time

a engine stand and lift is necessary along with a lot of tools and new parts
