I have came across a 92 honda accord it has 257000 miles on it at how many miles are these cars known to quit? I really need a car and I can buy this car for 800 but the thing is that I need a car that is going to last me a while, in your opion, should I go for it or keep looking. The car has been well maintain and has always had it required maintances up to date atleast thats their sales pitch. Please help me out. Thank you

Hi there,
Thee cars are normally quite reliable and if well maintained should not be in bad condition, but like anything you will have to take a chance or two as things can fail in older cars with out much notice, if you can get a mechanic to cast an eye over it just in case, better to be safe than sorry.
