Could someone please let me know how to change brake fluid on my 91 honda Accord EX-R? At least several years it has never been changed.
Thanks in advance

Hi stn888,

1. Use a syringe to suck out all the fluid in the master cylnder reservoir and clean the reservoir.
2. Top up with new fluid.
3. Start from rear right wheel, front left, rear left wheel and front right wheel, do bleeding till new fluid comes out. Remember to top up while bleeding to avoid fluid getting too low

Thank you KHLow2008 !
Just wondering: will they do the same thing if I bring my car to the garage?
Thanks again

Hi stn888,

That is what they are supposed to do if it is performed manually.
If they use a machine, the fluids would be sucked from the cylinders or pressure would be applied to the master cylinder reservoir and new fluid added while the wheels bleeders are being released to allow fluid to come out.
