Air Conditioning problem
1991 Honda Accord 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My air conditioner switch will not turn on the compressor
every time it is pushed. If you turn it off and than back on again it will come on most times. Additionally, the unit may be running fine and then turn itself (compressor) off which than again will come back on, when the switch is turned off and back on again. At times the unit turns on in a normal way and runs fine?

Hi donpck,

You have to ascertain whether it is the compressor that is malfunctioning or the switch.

You need to test the compressor relay for power input and output when the compressor is not working.
