I have a 1990 honda accord (stick shift) and I had a flat tire yesterday(front drivers side). After I put the spare on so I could drive home, it was making sort of a clanking sound and it appeared more apparent as I would start slowing down to a stop and it would shake a little bit. I'm hoping it's just the spare tire and not the axle or something more serious.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi selenao711,

If the noise was not there before replacemnet with the spare tire, then it most likely is the cause. Hope you have correctly torqued the lug nuts. If improperly torqued, it would cause abnormal nouises.

Another possible cause could be the spare is not iof the correct specifications and causing some abrasion somewhere.
