Purchased 2 mo. Serviced and tested okay then. Tried to run AC (warm but blows). Now even with AC-air-radio off car shudders & stalls everytime at stops, turns, or deceleration. Need to put in neutral and rev up to ease into first. All levels are fine. Would like to know what to ask a repair shop specifically since I want to avoid excess repairs. Also can I repalce freon myself?

Is this car have a manual tranny? And yes you can replace the coolant yourself but you will have to retrofit it first.

I have to add too, that if you need to fill the a/c system then there is a leak. The system is designed to be sealed, therefore it should never have to be refilled unless there is a leak, leak would have to be fixed first.
