i have an 1989 honda accord and when I press on the gas to go it hesitates then it takes off and when I come to a stop or slow down it dies. Do you know what it could be?

Hi skingzgurl,

You should be having a problem with the idling speed and there could be a misfiring due to bad spark plugs or wires.

What is the idling speed after warming up?
