First of all, I hope you get a great deal on this car. Not that the car is bad, but let me state that people buying older autos that have little mechanical experience are asking for problems and a likely drain on their pocket books. If you are persistent is getting the vehicle, remember, you have crossed in to the world of OBD I and carburation. Not that this is bad but you will be dealing with old technology and answers may be more difficult to find solutions for. The best piece of advice I can give you is to get a service manual for the vehicle. Best thing you could do.
