2006 Other Holden Models Engine light

My cars engine light is coming on and today whenI put it into reverse, from park, the car shuddered and there was a big cross through the "R" on the dash. Also when drving it doesnt seem to have much take off power

You will need to have the computer scanned to determine what code is set in memory. This will help narrow down our diagnosis. Also, all the information on the car, ie; engine size body style etc. Then, we can go from there. Please advise.
