Wipers have stopped working

My Windscreen wipers have stopped working, but they still make the sound as if they are going. How do I fix this?

Hi there,

what model Holden is this? Normally this is the wiper regulator pivot on the wiper motor has come off, it is a nylon socket. If they get to worn they will not stay on and the regulator needs replacing. Check this out first.
