Gurgling noise when starting

When I start the car and especially when I rev the engine, I can hear a gurgling sound. Unsure what is causing this. The noise stops when I turn the engine off. I can hear it when I'm sitting inside the car. Any idea what's causing this and how to fix it?

Hi,

If the sound seems to come from under the dashboard, there is a chance it is low on engine coolant, and you are hearing the heater core fill with coolant.

What I suggest is to check the coolant level first. If it is full, let me know if this still happens if the AC is not being used.

I will watch for your reply. I attached the only picture I had of the coolant reservoir below. The pic shows the reservoir with a pressure tester attached to the top. Ignore the tester.

Let me know what you find.
