I am getting a low grinding noise when I am going slower speeds! Like five to ten mph. stops when I have foot on gas but as soon as I let off it starts. So if I just coast along in gear at these speeds while having my rpm's about 2000 something grinds. What could this be?

Hello,

If you can make a video of the noise it would help and send us a link. but, it sounds like the final drive gears in the transmission are no good. In this case you will need to replace the transmission.

This is a guide on a rear wheel drive car but it give you an idea of what it will take

Here are some diagrams to help you get the job done:

Please let us know what happens.
