Goes into gears but will not drive or Move?

I hit a rod sticking out of pavement. The car started to tremble and made loud noises then I smelled burning and a little smoke. Pulled over and nothing looked off then drove next day the RPMs stayed revving high and lost power in acceleration sounded like gears were slipping then I shut it off. Started again it wouldn't move in any gears. All gears seem to work and when I have in third gear or any gears after I push clutch down and slowly release it just stays running doesn't shut off or move at all. I saw a foot on a pedal light once and then when I turned on the key without starting the check engine light started blinking then disappeared, yet the battery symbols the power steering symbol and an oil can symbol stays on but disappears when started. My clutch seems hard, doesn't fall to floor so I'm not sure what it could be.
