MY BRAKE LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING, AT ALL. NONE OF THEM ARE WORKING. ALL MY OTHER LIGHTS ON MY TRUCK WORK. I TRIED TO HAVE THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH REPLACED, BUT ONCE IT WAS INSTALLED, I COULDN'T MOVE THE TRUCK OUT OF PARK. SO, THEY HAD TO TAKE THE SWITCH BACK OUT IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET OUT OF PARK. WHY IS THAT HAPPENING? WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. EVERY ONE I HAVE TAKEN IT TO SEEMS TO BE SHOCKED AS TO WHY THE BRAKE LIGHTS ARE STILL NOT WORKING AND WHY IT WON'T LET ME OUT OF PARK WITH THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH IN.

The brake lights and the "park" release are in the same switch. If the switch is set too close to the brake pedal lever it won't allow you to release the park lever. Try plugging the new switch without mounting it and manually move it until it releases the park lock. If everything works, reinstall the switch and adjust it.
