Hello
I bought a Suburban 1994 diesel. Few things don't work.
1. Overdrive doesn't work.
2. When speed is 65 miles/hour comes check engine light on the dashboard but car drives without any problem. After restart check engine light disappears.
3. When engine is cold starts normally but later cuts off fuel. And I have wait about an hour to start it again.
Thanks for response because I live in London UK and is great problem to repair car like this.

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

There are 18 and 19 faults so fuel pump cam and crank position sensor problem. I'm looking to buy now crank sensor.
1. Can somebody tell me how to check faults of gearbox to know why overdrive doesn't work.
2. Is it possible that one of these two faults makes that after 65 miles/hour engine check switches on?
