2004 GMC Sonoma limited slip rear diff. Oil

Whats the best gear oil to use in this app. Owners manual gives a part number that auto part stores can" translate also can I add an additive?

Yes, your going to have to add an additive because they really don't sell any gear oil specific for limited slip any more. The brand isn't important. Just go with the correct weight. Synthetic will be higher quality. Be sure to add the friction modifier additive.
