2003 GMC Sonoma car wont crank

I turn the key and the engine do not rotate. Everything else is working lights, horn, dashbroad working. I had a new battery installed a couple of months ago.I had this happen just before I got new battery. Well that what they told me at the parts store when he put that machine on it. Now I have my truck doing this again what can it be?

Make sure the battery cable's are clean and tight and the battery is charged and test's good. Do you have a multimeter?

It's probably your starter my 2002 was doing the same thing lights. Horn. Clock all work this shows its not the battery.
