Truck is denali 6.0 litre, SES light. It appear the ODBII port is dead, tried 3 code scanners (last one I know is good as I ran it on my car), also one of the cigarette lighters doesnt work, (the one in the ash tray). Is it possible this is a fuse problem? Car appears to have a slight miss as well.

I havent unplugged the battery, as I would like to try and find what code is actually being thrown.

Check the cigar fuse, in the underhood fuse block, its probably blown. Then see if it powers up, if not post back and will go to the next step.

02 fuse b and 02 fuse a in the underhood fuseblock. Anytime you are not sure just use a test light and check them all.
