Driving with cruise set at 70. Engine died, tried restarting while moving, and it wouldnt. I coasted a ways and just before it stopped, I retried it and it fired up, I proceeded hopin to get to work. It lurched a few times then died after 10 miles or so, and now it wont restart. It cranked a bit and sounded like it was goind to run but wont. When I turn ignition on, the only gauge that works now is voltmeter which says 9-10 volts. Oil pressure shows once I crank it. But the fuel and temp gauges arent working. Battery or alternator possibly? I hope.

If the cranking rpms are good, my first thought isn't the battery. Is the theft lite flashing or anything?

Can you check for codes? Can you do some basic tests? Have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs and injector pulse.
