2000 GMC Sierra 4.3 v6 with approx. 95,000 miles.

When my mechanic can get the code to clear, the engine will run at idle but will stutter and die as soon as the transmission is shifted into gear. There is no power, and the check engine light will immediately come on again. The 1351 code reappears.

My mechanic is stumped. After $500 in parts including a PCM, Coil, Distributor, Dist cap, ignition control module, crankshaft position sensor (also has P1345), and a rotor.

He has removed all the wiring from the loom to check for shorted wires, tested all circuits per the GMC rec. Troubleshooting procedures, jumped across specific wires in order to bypass the issue.

HELP!

Please, limit the support. I am having a hard time reading all the responses.

I would think at least one person could give me some direction!

BTW: Add a fuel pump to the list. Now having the truck towed to a dealership.

Thanks for not too much.
