1999 GMC Sierra misfiring

I started the truck the other day and the engine was shaking and vibrating the whole truck so I turned it off and did not drive it. I went back two days later and started it and now its not vibrating and the check engine light is on.

Where do I start?

Hi, thanks for the donation. I'd have to start with a tune-up, that includes checking fuel pressure. I'd also check for trouble codes. Some of the national brand autostores used to check trouble codes for free or if you have an obd11 codes reader, that will work. They also might loan you a fuel pressure gage, if you don't have one?
